Michael King

Michael’s interest of dance developed from attending CandoCo’s summer residency. He went onto train with CandoCo’s education team and started dancing and creating work with Rachael Lines where he co-founded FRONTLINEdance.

In addition Mike has delivered education packages and toured with a number of companies including FRONTLINEdance, Scottish Dance Theatre, Blue Eyed Soul, CandoCo & Half Moon Theatre Co.

Mike also went on to study theatre with Graeae Theatre Co, enjoyed Ariel puppetry with the Flying Piglets in New Zealand and acted and directed theatre in London. Mike is a qualified teacher (PGCE) and a swift-water rescue technician.
